Curtain making and Soft furnishing courses

Curtain making and soft furnishing courses with Ginny Peace Interiors. Learn creative curtain making and soft furnishing in an enjoyable and relaxing environment. Courses include all materials as well as coffee on arrival, a two course home made lunch and afternoon tea. Small workshops in beautiful Cranbrook in Kent are limited to a maximum of 4 to ensure that everyone gets the right amount of attention.

DOOR STOPS

Learn to make a door stop for yourself or as a present for a friend in any of our fabrics or some of your own.

Two part day course which can be taken as separate days. Beginners welcome on Part One.


Part One: Learn the techniques involved in making a simple lined and interlined curtain with a taped heading. Includes estimating and measuring fabric, pattern matching and many other expert tips to ensure a thoroughly professional job.

Part Two: Building on the techniques learned in Part One, learn how to make a lined and interlined curtain with a handmade heading such as pinch pleat or goblet.
